for San Mateo County, Democratic
Central Committee, 4th District

A fundamental goal of the San Mateo County Democratic Central Committee (DCC) is to support and elect great Democratic candidates. The DCC also passes resolutions that can make their way into the State Democratic Party Platform. It has been my honor to serve our community on the DCC for over a decade.

I make a point to reach out and support candidates running for public office. I also strive to help candidates understand technical aspects of a campaign like working with voter data and producing campaign literature. Further, I've introduced improvements to the DCC process for contacting candidates to explain the steps and set up endorsement interviews.

I bike to DCC meetings and enthusiastically support initiatives to improve our transit infrastructure along the Caltrain corridor. I also support resolutions that aim to address inequities around and access to good jobs, affordable housing and quality education.

John Woodell is a strong advocate for increasing voter participation, and he always brings positive energy and inspiration to the Central Committee.
